In this Holistic Nutrition series of 12 classes we offer essential knowledge based on living holistically through balanced nutrition. If you take these classes individually they are $20 each, but if you take the entire series they are only $15 each, which is a $60 discount. These are all in-person classes, which will be held at our Murray, Utah location. We will have online classes available soon!

By taking the entire series we can better guide you in the direction you need to put you on the path of Holistic Health. We work with you on an individual basis for a total of 12 weeks to coach you in ALL aspects of your nutrition.

12 Holistic Nutrition classes:

  1. Food Labels

Have you ever wondered what's in the packaged food at the store? In this class, you will acquire the tools you need to go into the store and know exactly what you are buying and eating, how to understand the food labels, and what is natural and what is not.

  1. Vitamins & Minerals

Vitamins and minerals are the building blocks of a good healthy body.  In this class, you will learn the basics of what these vitamins and minerals are and what they can do for you.  Learn how to discern which ones you need to improve your own health.

  1. How to Make Good Food Choices

Some of us have food sensitivities or allergies to certain foods. This class will help you to discover if you have some of these conditions and how to select foods that do not trigger the adverse reactions, such as irritable bowel, asthma, headaches, mood swings, etc.

  1. Malnourished

Quite often our aches, pains, and illnesses are symptoms of a lack of a certain vitamin or mineral.  In this class, we will go over some of these symptoms. We will be using a food journal to help you track your symptoms and watch the improvements as you add the missing elements to your diet.

  1. Shakes vs. Juicing

What is the difference between juicing and smoothies?  In this class, we will go over what each of these has to offer in achieving and maintaining optimal health. There will be a hands-on activity to show you how to make some delicious and healthy drinks.

  1. How to Find "Healthy" Produce

This class will teach you how to discern which fruits and vegetables are perfectly ripe, disease free, and safe to add to your menu. We will have a variety of produce for you to see, feel, and smell the differences between produce that are fresh and ready to eat and those that have gone past their lifespan.

  1. Conventional vs. Organic

We will be looking into how foods are grown, whether they are grown with toxic chemicals or grown in a natural, healthy environment.  In this class, we will discuss the harmful effects of food that is grown with the use of artificial means.

  1. Herbs & Spices

Herbs and spices are powerful medicines that are also used to enhance the flavor of foods.  Learn how to chose the ones that are suitable to your pallet and that are helpful for your body, mind, and spirit.

  1. Mindful Nutrition

This class will help bring awareness to your food choices and the reasons you have for these choices.  Your food journal will be a powerful tool to help you learn what and why you are eating certain foods.

  1. Salad Making

Come to class and we will learn how to make a good healthy salad with the ingredients of your choice.

  1. 30 min. Dinner

Eating healthy does not need to be a long drawn out process.  With a few healthy ingredients, you can make a tasteful meal in a short amount of time.

  1. Go Into the Store!

Let's go shopping!  We will go to your favorite grocery store and discover the healthy treasures within.
