Not to confuse your pelvis with your hips, they are in the same area of the body, but serve different purposes. The pelvic bowl holds the reproductive organs as well as other vital abdominal organs. When we have a weak pelvic floor these organs become misaligned and can cause aches and pains in the abdomen and lower back area.
In our Movement classes, we use Myofascial Release techniques to teach you how to release the fascia in your own body, how to mindfully feel the fascia in your body, and how to continue this vital work at home. Myofascial Release not only helps with physical pain, it also helps with emotional and mental release from past traumas.
