Having full range of motion in our cervical spine allows us to freely move our head as needed. When we are restricted to the movement of our head it can lead to headaches/migraines and a foggy mental state. Having movement in this area improves our mental function and our perception of the world around us. It can also help us tune into our intuitions and improve nerve function throughout the body.
In our Movement classes, we use Myofascial Release techniques to teach you how to release the fascia in your own body, how to mindfully feel the fascia in your body, and how to continue this vital work at home. Myofascial Release not only helps with physical pain, it also helps with emotional and mental release from past traumas.
