Not to confuse your pelvis with your hips, they are in the same area of the body but serve different purposes. The pelvic bowl holds the reproductive organs as well as other vital abdominal organs. When we have a weak pelvic floor these organs become misaligned and can cause aches and pains in the abdomen and lower back area.
In the yoga/meditation classes, we use personalized, mindful stretching along with guided meditations to bring about more awareness to the sensations we are having in our physical, mental, and emotional states. This is NOT a regular yoga class, it is much more personalized to the client's needs and uses guided imagery and stretching to the client's ability level.
