The lumbar is the area that brings the most flexibility to the torso. It is also the area that holds the weight of the upper body and it is the foundation for our core. When this area of the spine is flexible and strong we will have healthier posture to support your core strength.
In the yoga/meditation classes, we use personalized, mindful stretching along with guided meditations to bring about more awareness to the sensations we are having in our physical, mental, and emotional states. This is NOT a regular yoga class, it is much more personalized to the client's needs and uses guided imagery and stretching to the client's ability level.
